Department of Art and Design went to Fuyang to investigate national non-heritage projects

In order to further promote the protection of intangible cultural heritage and promote the inheritance and innovation of non-heritage in colleges and universities, with the strong recommendation of Wuhu Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, on November 27th, Wu Hao, deputy director of the Department of Art and Design, went to Fuyang to visit the paper-cutting heritage of national non-heritage projects Cheng Xinghong.
Wu Hao and Zhang Hechun, director of the Commercial Bureau of Oudong District, Fuyang City, Li Helin, Chairman of Wuyang Fuyang Chamber of Commerce, and Jiang Long, Vice President, visited the paper-cutting base of the national-level non-heritage project, learned the origin, development, and achievements of paper-cutting, and observed Master Cheng Xinghong On-site paper-cutting and in-depth discussions with Cheng Xinghong on the activities of Yinfei left on campus. Both parties stated that, relying on the advantages of teaching and scientific research in universities, the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage will be promoted. Through the combination of research, rescue and development inheritance, non-hereditary inheritors will further their studies with the cultivation of newcomers, protect the heritage culture, cultivate the characteristic campus culture, stimulate the vitality of non-hereditary heritage, and create an important position for non-hereditary heritage.
Master Cheng Xinghong is the representative inheritor of paper-cutting for the national intangible cultural heritage project issued by the Ministry of Culture. He is also a distinguished professor of Southeast University and Anhui University. His paper-cutting works have won special awards at the 8th China Culture and Art Festival and have represented China many times. Travel to Europe for traditional cultural performances and exchanges.
